YOUNG 100 LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Greater Miami Chapter is pleased to invite you to attend a Young 100 Leadership Program orientation meeting on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Florida Memorial University at 6:00 pm. The Young 100 Leadership Program is designed to equip and empower college-aged women with the skills necessary to successful transition into corporate America through interactive training sessions and forums.
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women is a national, non-profit 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to leadership development, advocacy, and the empowerment of African American women and girls through education, health, and economic development initiatives. The mission of NCBW is to develop leaders who will help to rebuild their communities and redirect the energies of younger Black people who live in those communities.

The mission of the Young 100 Program is to identify, develop and support women emerging leaders who exemplify committed service to positively impact the greater community. The program is open to young women ages 18 to 24. Participants must be enrolled in college or vocational school (full or part-time) or employed. Upon graduation, participants are eligible for NCBW membership. Class sessions are usually held on the second Saturday of each month from 11 am to 2 p.m. Topics include:
